Ian Whelan

Ian este licențiat în Științe sportive și antrenament în Irlanda. He has an MSc in Sports Performance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Sports & Exercise Nutrition. He is also a UKAD Anti‐Doping Advisor and an ISAK Accredited Level 1 Anthropometrist .
His academic research involved looking at the nutritional knowledge and habits of elite youth rugby union players and developing nutrition education resources for digital platforms. He is constantly reviewing scientific literature to keep up to date with the new trends in sports nutrition.
In his spare time, Ian enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes as well as travelling and experiencing new cultures. Coming from a sporting background, he also enjoys watching and playing different sports. He’s an advocate of a healthy balanced lifestyle, but has found that the most important aspect of all is to enjoy the journey.
